This piece is made only from software synthesizers. I’ve worked with repetition, big spaces and tactile dry field recordings from the beach. I enjoy the sound of this big vast landscape that somehow feels so far away but still right in front of us next to the sea. I see future plans. Future plants. And future planets.

Sofie Birch is a sound artist working with electronic hardware, electroacoustic setups and field recordings. She has a profound interest in the healing nature of sound and vibrations and works across disciplines with other artists on expanding our understanding of mind and body through art.
