about

"golden hour, blue hour, dusk (+6° to -18°)" is a sonic interpretation for
the transition period between daytime and nighttime, as the sun
goes from 6 degrees above the horizon to 18 degrees below it.
Inspired by what is referred to as the magic hour in cinematography,
the work aims to depict the fleeting grandeur of the dance of light
and shadow as the sun sinks behind the horizon.

Mo H. Zareei aka mHz is an Iranian sound artist based in New Zealand.
Working across various audio/visual media, his creations aim to
highlight the beauty in the fundamental principles behind sound and
light travel and reductionist audiovisual elements that draw inspiration
from physics and architecture.
Under the moniker mHz, Zareei’s electronic music projects have been
published via Important Records (US), leerraum (CH), and Kasuga
Records (DE).
